ejournals. Scientific Journals Portal. Open-access scientific journals are published on ejournals, our proprietary platform for publishing journals online. Currently, we collaborate with over 100 scientific journals published by more than 25 Polish institutions from almost all scientific disciplines.
The mission of
ejournals is to support Polish scientists and provide editorial teams with professional assistance in continuously improving their standards and maintaining high global benchmarks. Implementing international standards and best practices along with modern publishing tools can influence an increase in citation numbers, more efficient data migration in scientific databases, and improved visibility on the web. We assist editorial teams in scientific information activities to continually raise the prestige of their journals.
We encourage you to join us in this collaboration! The condition for placing a journal on the ejournals website is signing a cooperation agreement with Jagiellonian University Press for the publication of the journal's electronic version. It is important to note that journals published on the portal retain their affiliations, independence, and subjectivity.
Contact us! (KLIK!)Journal Website. Each journal published on ejournals has its own individualized, autonomous website in established language versions. We offer the possibility of preparing multilingual journal websites. The sites are responsive and comply with accessibility requirements (WCAG 2 ≥ AA, open access) and international standards.
Editorial teams can promote their journals through slider functions, news updates, collections, and Reader Panel options. Journal websites on the Scientific Journals Portal are highly ranked on the web.
DOI Number. Every scientific article receives a DOI number, along with basic metadata about the publication, which can then be shared with many databases, libraries, and repositories via the Crossref API.
ORCID Identifier. The author's ORCID ID is attached to the metadata of publications associated with the DOI number of an article in the Crossref database. This means that when the article's DOI is activated, the author's ORCID ID is linked to the DOI metadata, and the publication details are automatically indexed to the author's ORCID account.
Google and Google Scholar. All scientific articles are easily searched and ranked by Google. Journal contents are indexed in Google Scholar.
Collaboration with Scientific Databases, Catalogues, and Repositories. Jagiellonian University Press offers assistance in submitting publications to Polish and international databases, portals, catalogues, and bibliographies that align with the journal’s topics and standards.
The submission of a journal for indexing in a given database is based on a proposal from the Press, following the results of regular evaluations or upon a request from the journal’s editorial board to submit the title to the database.
The cooperation includes the introduction of scientific content into the most important global databases and academic and professional distribution platforms. We collaborate with most abstract and indexing services worldwide (including ERIH+, Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, ProQuest, Google Scholar, etc.).
Thanks to direct agreements with global distributors and databases, we enable journals to appear in scientific sources worldwide. Increasing the availability and visibility of scientific articles leads to a rise in citation numbers.
