Customers of the bookstore have the right to lodge a complaint in case of defects or shortages of the delivered goods or electronic files.
The complaint about paper books should be made in writing and include:
(a) name and surname of the person making the complaint,
(b) the contact details, including traditional and e-mail address,
(c) information indicating the type of defect (e.g. type of damage, missing pages, etc.),
d) enclosed defective copy of the goods,
e) order number or other confirmation of the order submitted through the portal.
The complaint should be sent to the address: Jagiellonian University Press, ul. Cegielniana 4a, pok. 1, Krakow with a note “Complaint”. You can also submit your complaint by e-mail: reklamacja@wuj.pl.
The complaint concerning digital content should be submitted via e-mail and include:
(a) name and surname of the person making the complaint,
(b) the contact details, including traditional and e-mail address,
(c) the name of the product,
(d) information indicating the type of defect (e.g. type of damage, missing pages, etc.) and the date on which it occurred.

Please be advised that we do not accept returns sent back to our warehouse on delivery or at the expense of the Publisher.
The deadline for handling complaints is 14 business days from the date of delivery of the completed complaint. The Publisher will notify the customer of the result of the complaint via e-mail unless the customer reserves the right to another way of contact.
If the complaint is needs to be supplemented, the Publisher shall request the User to complete it before considering it.
Incomplete complaints will not be considered.
The Publisher informs that in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on consumer ODR), in disputes concerning online sales contracts, the ODR platform for dispute resolution can be used on the website:
