Description constitutes one of the basic elements of pedagogical research and empirical educational practices, whereas the pedagogy is not to be understood here as education studies, although it encompasses eduction as an important object of research and support. Description, as defined in the book, is not limited to reflecting the factors (facts, events, process) of upbringing, educating and self- -educating of a human being throughout their life, but its meaning was terminologically expanded. The continuity of description consists of four stages: (1) reflection (listing and including of factors), (2) reflection and diagnosis, (3) reflection, diagnosis and explanation, (4) reflection, diagnosis and explanation leading to the broadening of theoretical and practical knowledge as well as the formulation of methodological suggestions.
